Amouri - Wording

It's easy to become confused when deciding upon the wording for your wedding stationery ... however, we're here to help! Invitations always go out from whoever is hosting the wedding - traditionally the bride's parents. And the main consideration is how formal or informal you want to be.

As a general rule, the invitation should state the following:

names of the bride's parents or other hosts
first name of the bride
first name and surname of the bridegroom and his title (Mr/Lieutenant/Sir)
where the ceremony is taking place
date, month and year of the wedding ceremony
time of the ceremony
location of the wedding reception
address to which guests must reply – alternatively use an RSVP Card
